The coronavirus pandemic in Southern California continues, with federal health workers deployed to help with the "slammed" epidemic that is on its way to Southern California. The coronavirus pandemic also filled local hospitals Wednesday as cases and deaths rose and LA County reported its third death from the disease in less than a week. Fountain Valley's high wrestling team won its second consecutive state title and also repeated itself as the nation's top team in wrestling and athletics. The success on the mat was not limited to Brunnen Valley, as Corona del Mar was able to win a 48: 23 victory against Montebello.

Marina, trained by Tamara Towgood, used her strong wrestling skills to win her third consecutive SoCal title and her second straight state title. Fountain Valley has five CIF individual champions, including two state champions and four state champions - ups. Senior Alex Kowalski, the leading runner-up in the championship game, earned promotion to the Wave League and advanced to the CIFF semifinals.

The team wore down its opponents, going 4-1 in those games, but the fact that Fountain appeared to compete against Los Angeles Price on March 5 helped the Barons have a historic season.
